Captain Austin Fassiotto, a lifelong resident of Oregon, has been deeply passionate about fishing ever since his grandfather introduced him to the sport at the tender age of three. With over 25 years of dedicated experience, particularly in the rich waters of Tillamook and Nehalem bays, Austin has combined his lifelong love for fishing with his role as a guide. While he spends his weekdays working in construction, he devotes his weekends to sharing his extensive fishing knowledge and enthusiasm with anglers, especially families and children, through his guiding service.

Fassiotto’s Guide Service, based in Corvallis, offers unforgettable fishing adventures on the Oregon Coast's inland waters. Captain Austin’s service covers renowned fishing spots such as Tillamook Bay and Nehalem Bay, ensuring diverse and exciting fishing opportunities. With a commitment to making each trip enjoyable and productive, Captain Austin leads eight-hour excursions that cater to a variety of fish species, including Rainbow Trout and Salmon, depending on seasonal conditions.

The fishing adventures are conducted aboard a brand-new 23-foot Alumaweld boat, designed to accommodate up to four anglers comfortably. This well-equipped vessel features an ice box to keep your catch fresh throughout the trip. Captain Austin specializes in different types of fishing based on the season: from August to mid-November, he focuses on guided Salmon trips targeting Chinook and Coho in coastal areas and around the Columbia River near Portland. During winter, starting in January, he shifts his attention to Steelhead fishing on the Wilson and Sandy Rivers, covering areas from Oxbow Park to Dabney Park. In April, Captain Austin transitions to spring Chinook fishing on the Willamette River, including the Multnomah Channel and around the St. John’s Bridge.
