What a fantastic day on the water we had with Darren and their crew in Tillamook, Oregon! The weather was perfect—partly cloudy skies with a light breeze that made for a comfortable day out on the river. The water conditions were great, and we were excited to get the lines in and see what we could find.

We started the day off trolling, using a mix of heavy and light tackle, and it wasn't long before we had our first Chinook Salmon on the line. Darren fought that fish hard, working the rod and keeping steady pressure until we were able to bring it into the boat. The salmon put up a great fight, jumping and peeling off line, but Darren kept their cool and landed a beautiful specimen. We continued to troll and drift fish, cycling through different techniques, and managed to hook into a few more Chinook over the course of the day.

The fishing was consistent, and the company was great. We shared stories, talked tactics, and enjoyed being out on the water together.
